FleetHub Swindon delivers critical infrastructure to support vehicle electrification, offering scalable charging solutions for commercial fleets. The proposed scheme will feature 389 EV van charging spaces, making it one of the largest of its kind, designed to accommodate the growing demand for sustainable fleet operations. The adjacent public charging forecourt will provide 10 ultra-rapid car charging spaces initially, with a further 8 EV-ready spaces and 2 EV-ready 7.5t truck spaces. These will be served by a drive-to F&B unit providing a convenient en-route pitstop. With planned on-site renewable energy generation, including solar PV and battery storage systems, the hub is designed to integrate seamlessly with the grid, offering both AC and DC charging options, contributing to a low-carbon future. It is subject to planning approval.
